Our mission
GOHEC is dedicated to facilitating a global dialogue and understanding of the changes and trends in higher education. It serves as a collaborative space for research groups and experts to systematically accumulate, analyse, and interpret data, both quantitative and qualitative, related to changes in higher education systems and institutions worldwide.
About Us
GOHEC is a network of researchers and research groups with a clear interest in higher education changes worldwide. The network is coordinated by the GOHEC Office at the Department for Higher Education Research at the University for Continuing Education Krems, Austria.
GOHEC was established in September 2024 in Krems, Austria, with a first meeting of the members and the official signature of the Memorandum of Understanding.
The members of GOHEC are based in 15 countries:
Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, South Africa, USA.
